This wine shows all the characteristics you would expect from an Australian Shiraz – bright red ruby in colour with aromas of red berries & ripe raspberries. The smooth palate is bursting with flavours of red fruit accompanied by the distinctive spiciness you expect from this varietal.

AROMAS: Fragrant red berries and soft ripe raspberry notes with hints of spice.

PALATE: A smooth and medium bodied palate of ripe red fruits with accompanying spices, combining with fine tannins and good fruit length.

VINIFICATION:

Parcels of premium Shiraz fruit was fermented in a combination of static and rotary fermenters and underwent daily pumping over the skins. The rotary fermenters allowed management of tannins and flavour for a smoother style of wine. Following primary fermentation, the wine was pressed off into tank & selected barrels for Malo-lactic fermentation and maturation.
