George Geris, who has been a key figure in the New Zealand wine industry for more than twenty-five years. A two time recipient of the New Zealand Winemaker of the Year title, before launching NZ Wine services in 2015 George had fifteen years on the ground in Marlborough wineries. The majority of this time was as Chief Winemaker/Winery Manager for one of the region’s and New Zealand’s largest and most quality focused wineries. He has grown the NZ Wine Services Ltd business significantly since its inception. George’s international market experience and extensive time spent in vineyards with growers and viticulturists around the country, mean he has deep connections with, and understanding of, the industry as a whole.
