    The fruit driven palate is complex, and crisp with its acid structure supporting the generous, apple, melon primary fruit accompanied by slight creaminess from limited barrel maturation.

    About
    The infamous stone fruit characteristics of Chardonnay are very apparent in this wine with aromas of peach & nectarine. The first sip continues to highlight this fantastic fruit expression followed by a creamy cashew nut finish which has developed from barrel maturation.

    Vinification:

    The winter had sufficient rainfall, ensuring good soil moisture for vine budburst in spring. The growing season had slightly below average temperatures, allowing for a slow and extended ripening period. The dry summer and harvest led to an earlier picking of Chardonnay grapes, resulting in a wine with excellent colour and classic regional flavours.
