A smooth and medium bodied palate of ripe red fruits with accompanying spices, combining with fine tannins and good fruit length.

About
This wine shows all the characteristics you would expect from an Australian Shiraz – bright red ruby in colour with aromas of red berries & ripe raspberries. The smooth palate is bursting with flavours of red fruit accompanied by the distinctive spiciness you expect from this varietal. A smooth and medium bodied palate of ripe red fruits with accompanying spices, combining with fine tannins and good fruit length.

Vinification:
Parcels of premium Shiraz fruit was fermented in a combination of static and rotary fermenters and underwent daily pumping over the skins. The rotary fermenters allowed management of tannins and flavour for a smoother style of wine. Following primary fermentation, the wine was pressed off into tank & selected barrels for Malo-lactic fermentation and maturation.
